Practical and comfortable solution!

The DEX ceramic tiles are made from a finely milled mixture which is shaped in moulds at high pressure, followed by a single firing and a subsequent firing at a temperature above 1200ºC according to the requirements of standard NP EN 14411: 2008 BIa. It is highly resistant to abrasion and is absolute waterproof.

DEX is structured as follows. The DEX decking board consists of an unglazed ceramic tile that is glued to a thermoplastic tub support. The adhesion is realised with a special adhesive under high pressure. In the tub support, directly below the ceramic tile, three parallel inserts made of galvanized steel run along the entire length of the tile for reinforcement. This ensures increased impact resistance and contributes to a safer use of the final DEX deck.

The technical characteristics of this product make it a totally safe, comfortable and practical solution, eliminating any maintenance with surface treatments typically used in conventional decks (of natural wood or composites).

DEX is characterised by high wear resistance, high resistance to stains and chemicals, high impact resistance, excellent fire reaction to fire and durability.

The specific configuration of the decking boards enables easy attachment to the substructure with the aid of mounting clips.

The substructure can consist of treated wooden beams or metal profiles. We recommend using height-adjustable feet to compensate for elevation, uneven floors or a slightly inclined floor.
